Ticket Types are the building blocks of your event's financial success. That's why we give you the ability to customize customer access levels to the fullest extent. On POSH, you can create unlimited ticket types, re-arrange ticket type orders, and edit numerous settings.

Ticket Tier Settings

To Edit Ticket Types, click the ⚙ gear next to any Ticket Type. Ticket Types have many attributes, which we are constantly adding to. The current list of attributes and their utilities are as follows:

Title - The name of the selected Ticket Type.

Price - The price for 1 ticket of the selected Ticket Type.

Quantity Available - The total number of available tickets of the selected Ticket Type.

Start Sale Date - The time and date you want the selected Ticket Type to go on sale.

End Sale Date - The time and date you want the selected Ticket Type to close.

Min Purchase Quantity - Set a number to sell discounted ticket packages that are only redeemable once a certain number of tickets are added to the attendee's cart.

Max Purchase Quantity - Set a number to reduce group sizes, surge exclusivity, and collect more personal information on each attendee.

Description - Add a Description to further define the perks or access granted by the selected Ticket Type.

Password Protected - Set a Ticket Type password to limit event-tiered access to a select group of prospective attendees.

Require Approval - Turn on approvals for any ticket type if you want to approve attendees before they receive a QR code for your event. You can approve or deny requests by clicking "NEW APPROVALS" within the ticket type.

Take advantage of Custom Checkout Fields to gather more data on potential attendees before you approve or deny their request. Paid approvals expire after 7 days.

Hide Ticket Tier - You can hide a Ticket Type so it doesn't appear on the event page.

Hide Ticket Price - Hide a Ticket Type price to incentivize more attendee checkout processes.

Sell In Multiples - Require attendees to purchase a ticket type in multiples of any number, a great feature for group packages.

Disabled - this allows the ticket tier name to be visible but will not be available for attendees to purchase.

Mark as sold out - stop the sale of tickets and will visually show "sold out" within the ticket tier, which you can also open back up anytime.

Linking Ticket Tiers

Linking ticket tiers is a great way to automate the release of future ticket tiers!

To Link Ticket Types, click the 🔗 link icon next to any Ticket Type. Select whether you want the ticket to be disabled or hidden until, then choose the ticket tier, and then select sell out or until the sales period ends.

Ticket Groups

You can group your ticket types together by tier, status, availability, or whatever will make for a more optimal purchasing experience. This can help in organizing ticket types if you're offering several different experiences for your event.

Send Complimentary Tickets

Have a friend who doesn't want to go through the process of entering their information just to receive their free ticket? Scroll down to "Complimentary Tickets" on the Ticket Types page to send someone as many tickets as you'd like, straight to their email!

Click "+ Send Tickets", then the modal shown below will appear. Enter the Attendee's details and preferred ticket types to be sent and voila!

How to Mass Send Complimentary Tickets

Do you want to send Complimentary Tickets to a mass audience? No problem! This is a cool feature that you can unlock when you reach the Salesman level!

Step One: In the Complimentary ticket section select "CSV Upload."

Step 2:

After selecting "CSV Upload," we provide you with a template that shows how the file should be organized. You can use this template to add all the people you want to upload in bulk, or slightly modify your current CSV file to match the template.
